They're getting 30mpg city and 40mpg highway. There not loud like older diesels. Most TDI's are in the jetta and passat. There more models but I can't think of them right now. If you buy diesel, keep in mind that Europes diesels will not need any modifications when LSD (Low Sulfur Diesel is mandated here in a couple years. Volkswagens TDI is the best option right IMO.
