This post feels like a candidate for a Vox QOTD :-) but I'll bite:
"Walking with a Ghost", White Stripes

My moment of Beltzner synchronicity, my alternate PowerSong(TM):
"Toxicity", System of a Down -- this will get you in an odd loopy running rhythm, but when the lightning strikes you will move.

Beltzner's Not-Quite-Patented Power-Songs: "Chop Suey" by System of a Down, "Little Sister" and/or "No One Knows" by Queens of the Stone Age, "One by One", "Low" or "Monkey Wrench" by the Foo Fighters, "Since You've Been Gahan" (mashup of Kelly Clarkson vs. Depeche Mode).

Any of those will perk me right up. Of course, I can't jog to save my life, but they're good for the gym. I kinda fill my shuffle with crap like this before heading off.

So, I think I've got you beat in the embarrassing department: when exercising, a "groove track" that takes me through a bunch of phases of my workout seems to work best for me.

Unfortunately, the mixes that work best for me are pretty hard to come by, so I've ended up having to make my own: http://www.sigkill.com/~preed/norcal-peek.mp3

(This is just a clip of a mix I did; they're usually about an hour long.)
