Simplicity, by John Maeda

John’s a very smart guy — I’ve not met him personally, but know many folks who know him and have worked with him and think very highly of him. This is a short book — 100 pages — about the idea of simplicity in design. It’s a good book, easy to read — some will think it’s a little glib & fluffy, but I found a couple of useful ideas in each of the 10 chapters of the book — a pretty high hit rate. Worth picking up, or at least borrowing from me if you care about design, or, say, are busy designing the next great web browser. 😉
