huh. i’ve accidentally been forgetting to turn on my IM client (adium) for the past few days, and have noticed that my productivity has been a lot higher (if not quite as social). i think i’m going to experiment with that some.

So, did it help? I, for my part, usually just don’t answer if I have to work and somebody tries to bother me with non-urgent stuff. Instant messages, despite their name, don’t need instant repies, after all.
it does help, actually. i often forget to turn on IMs lately, and it’s helping my ADHD work style, I’m pretty sure…
