goodbye blue monday

Posted by: John In: Books

kurt vonnegut died tonight at 84. america loses one of its best, most authentic authors — someone in the mold of mark twain and john steinbeck. the world loses a champion humanist.

he’s one of my very very favorites, one of the few authors who i’ve read every single word of, and i’ll miss his voice a lot.

so it goes.

Hey John,

I too have ready every single word from Kurt Vonnegut, but for some reason thought he had died years ago. So maybe I’ve missed a few words from him.

Speaking of things that died years ago, recognize my name? Drop me a line if you remember me.
