welcome to the web, NYT

about time for the new york times to open up. welcome to the web. now i can go back to reading some of the stuff i cared about before this dumb times select experiment.

    Not quite there yet. I tried reading Krugman’s last column and failed. Can’t wait to start reading him again, and adding him to my illumio Progressive Politics group… :-)

    Update: The NYT states that the restrictions will be lifted tonight, at midnight.

    Any update since your July 19 post on All Things Digital about using an iphone in Europe? I am off in October to France and Spain and dont know whether to keep the blackberry til after the trip or switch to iphone before or use both?

    Actually, NYTimes has a bunch of blogs these days off of WordPress. They spoke at a WordPress conference and was impressed.

    I thought they were doing some stuff with SilverLight too. They’re pretty far ahead.

    What’s surprising to me is that they’re doing video.

    It is awesome how far back their newly opened archives go. Somewhere (don’t remember where :( ) I saw somebody linking to an 1850-or-so NYT article.
