Diary of a Wimpy Kid, by Jeff Kinney

Picked this up at Borders on a whim — fun cartoon/diary style novel from the point of view of a middle schooler. Painfully, um…painful. Fun to read; probably not worth buying since it goes by in about 45 minutes.

I'm not sure Diary is intended for you as the audience. My eight-year old son, however, loves this book.

@matt! ha! i read all sorts of things, and like this one. i think it's a bit like The Simpsons, and aimed at a bit of everyone....or maybe my reading skills are deteriorating.

me and my english class were in the library today looking at books and i came across this books. i picked it up and looked at the first page inside that had the diary on. i went to reserve it and my english teacher asked to hav a look at it. he said he would like o borrow it from me after i hav read it so we can read it in class.i think that this book is great.
