		<description>Sounds very familiar....Back in ninth grade a 200-pound middle linebacker buried his helmet in my shoulder (coach let him play running back for a few plays - I was defensive back and hadn&#039;t the slightest clue how to tackle) and created a similar &quot;notch&quot; that you describe.  For a year after that, whenever I put on my coat, slid into a base, etc., my shoulder would pop out of socket.

Painful.

I had (arthroscopic) surgery and to this day have that limited range of motion/etc.  It also kept me from skiing for a few weeks, which might have been worse.  :-)

However, it all turned out, and was the right move.  I&#039;m sure it will and is for you, too.  Not fun, but worth it.  Worst case, I&#039;m sure your insurance is good and the family will be cared for.  :-)</description>

		<description>dislocated both of mine, actually.  had one of them fixed in 2005 (arthroscopic) and it hasn&#039;t come out since.  good luck! :)</description>

		<description>Anyway.. good luck John.  Hope rehab is fast and that it improves your shooting and passing abilities on the basketball court (maybe I need surgery too).</description>
